SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The support issue developed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that Workplace status sassa to attend to all people who visit a service point.
